Goody Bar™: Redefining Caribbean Femininity Through Fashion and Storytelling
Goody Bar, a Caribbean provocateur brand, captures the untold narratives of island femininity through editorial projects and novelty goods that challenge Western perceptions.
Born from the intimate spaces and stories of Jamaican women, the brand creates content and products that reimagine traditional elements of Caribbean culture through a bold, contemporary lens.
For many years, Caribbean women have been silenced in telling their own stories. Goody Bar's mission is to celebrate wellness and pride in our culture and traditions, honoring the healing remedies that emerged from our vanities and medicine cabinets. These ancestral cures, passed down through generations, represent both practical wisdom and cultural heritage.
In 2025, The Belmont Agency Inc. debuts Goody Bar Swim - a collection that embodies the sensual confidence of Caribbean women, with silhouettes inspired by the natural relationship between island life and saltwater. The swimwear line mirrors our editorial ethos by translating cultural storytelling into wearable pieces, each design capturing the duality of strength and sensuality inherent in Caribbean femininity.
The collection's stunning campaign was brought to life against the pristine backdrop of Sugar Pot Beach in St. Mary, Jamaica. Under the direction of Creative Director Marleisse Stephens, the shoot featured the captivating presence of muse and model Reina Mshana, captured through the masterful lens of photographer Randy Richards, with seamless production by Gianni Jahziel.
Alongside its fashion debut, Goody Bar continues to expand its media presence with Goody Bar Radio, an upcoming podcast series exploring the passionate complexities of Jamaican love stories. Through this platform, we further cement our role as a cultural arbiter of modern Caribbean narratives, giving voice to stories that have long gone untold.
The Belmont Agency Inc. proudly owns the trademark to Goody Bar, continuing its commitment to authentic Caribbean representation and storytelling.
